A Review On Our First Book
by Chris Dickerson.
Like I said a while back I was going to order Arthur Needham’s book The Coins of India: The Mughal Emperors, Part VII (M7). Purely out of curiosity. When I got it I immediately noticed a difference between this numismatic book and others I have read. There are 3 differences in my opinion between this book and others I have read. 1. A novice like me, all the way to an expert in Mughal numismatics can learn a lot. This is due to the fact that changes in translation have been made for the first time in a very long time, so its new material. 2. The color coding helped me more than any of you may know. I honest to God wish ever single piece of numismatic research material had this incorporated. You will see at the bottom with the picture what I mean. 3. I love language and it helps me learn the langue as you will also see in the photo I am going to attach. Honestly its an all around phenomenal book. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the subject or anyone planning n writing a book about any numismatics so they have a good reference and idea on how to write a proper book.
